Booking ahead also means you lock in current pricing — not the future rates of the year you’re getting married.

In general, 12 to 24 months in advance hits the sweet spot — early enough to avoid stress, but not so far out that your plans feel abstract. That gives you time to curate your dream team without the pressure.
